Erica Ambrin & The Eclectic Soul Project
Erica Ambrin & The Eclectic Soul Project (ESP) are an ever evolving Hip-Hop Soul band from Northern California. The band, formed in 2015 while recording Ambrin’s debut EP Suga, is a collective of musicians from all walks of life – a jam band homage to music. Growing up in Los Angeles with a DJ father, Ambrin’s eclectic taste in music influences her writing – giving you vibes of Erykah Badu, The Fugees, and The Alabama Shakes. ESP’s unique dynamics fuse soulful lead vocals and deeply personal lyrics with high energy band bravado, drawing the audience in for an intimate experience.
ESP has performed all over California and has had the pleasure of opening for iconic musicians such as KRS-One, Nappy Roots, The Wailers, Martin Luther, and Anuhea. After gaining popularity as a contestant on American Idol, Ambrin moved to Maui to record her first hip-hop project Lucid Dreamer.. “With R&B and jazz undertones, Ambrin spins lyrical narratives that are romantic, vulnerable, and insightful.” - Terry Roland, The Journal of Roots Music. Erica Ambrin is currently back in Northern California working on recording two new projects.
LaiddBackZach
LaiddBackZach (LBZ for short) is an artist originally from Compton, CA, but has been in the North Bay Area for over a decade now. Even though his influences are indeed west coast hip hop driven, he has expanded his sound completely out of the box and really has no parameters to his catalog. However, it does center mostly around R&B, HipHop, Funk and Soul music. Alongside a 4 piece band, LBZ does shows everywhere from breweries, to theater, bars, parks, festivals, etc He has been known to be an electrifying performer with a great ear for music and a pen that can speak to many topics and audiences.
Taylin Archini
Taylin Archini is a self-taught singer and songwriter who has been passionate about music her entire life. Growing up influenced by powerful voices such as Usher and Alicia Keys, the soulful sounds and rhythms of icons like Marvin Gaye, and the smooth stylings of artists such as Aaliyah, Taylin has developed a unique and captivating vocal style. Her music, characterized by rich R&B and Neo-soul elements, stands out from the typical Bay Area music scene.
